My Story:
Paris was found suffering in the fields of Bakersfield with many open wounds. She appeared to have been hit by a car and had many areas of exposed tissue casting extreme pain. She was rushed to the emergency vet where she is currently receiving honey wraps on all her open wounds. She is in good spirits and is grateful for the help. She eagerly got into the car for rescue.

Paris is extremely friendly and loves people. She is gentle and is always looking for direction as she is eager to please. She is smart and lower energy than many Malinois. She will be ready for a new family once she is completely healed.

One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes.
