My Story:
Rollie was found in a grape vineyard extremely emaciated and covered in ticks. He was literally at deaths door when found. He was very weak and barely able to move. He was easily leashed and secured. He was very calm and for his rescue after suffering so much in the110 degree heat for so long without god and water. This boy is lucky to be alive.
About Me:
Rollie is very sweet and gentle. He is quiet and currently building up his strength as he has a road of recovery before he will be ready for his forever family. He has the kindest eyes and is the best boy. He will make a wonderful companion.

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes.
