PERCY

Name: PERCY
Age: 1
Sex: Male
Breed: Pomeranian Mix
Reproductive: Neutered
Vaccinations: Fully Vaccinated
Microchipped: Yes
My Story:
Percy, along with two other dogs named Blake and Quinn, was found abandoned on HWY 184 in Lamont, CA, where they were struggling to escape the dangers of oncoming traffic in the pouring rain. The dire circumstances faced by these three dogs compelled us to act swiftly upon learning of their situation. We successfully rescued them from this life-threatening environment, ensuring their safety and well-being.
About Me:
Percy is a delightful dog who is currently acclimating to his new surroundings, and we are gradually discovering more about his personality. He has demonstrated a warm and friendly demeanor towards both people and other dogs. We are hopeful that he will soon find a loving forever home where he can thrive.
My Status: Adopted

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes. If you are interested in helping us overcome this crisis and you have the ability to facilitate the adoption process n our behalf, please apply to become one of our valued partners. You can find the steps to doing so at the link below.
