BOBA

Name: BOBA
Age: 18 M
Sex: Female
Weight: 20
Breed: Rat Terrier Mix
Reproductive: Spayed
Vaccinations: Fully Vaccinated
Microchipped: Yes
My Story:
Our team was made aware of a heartbreaking situation involving a dog named Boba and her two adorable puppies, who were found seeking refuge beneath a concrete slab behind a store in Lamont, California. The conditions they were living in were dire, and it took what felt like an eternity to safely rescue them from their hidden spot. After much effort and careful planning, we finally managed to secure Boba and her two little “potatoes,” as we affectionately call the pups.
About Me:
Boba is an affectionate dog who takes her role as a mother very seriously, demonstrating a nurturing spirit that is both heartwarming and admirable. She exhibits a strong protective instinct towards her pups, ensuring their safety and well-being, much like any devoted mother would.
Beyond her maternal instincts, Boba is also sociable and friendly, getting along well with both humans and other dogs, which makes her a delightful companion. She has a particular fondness for snuggling on the couch, where she enjoys the warmth and comfort of being close to her loved ones. With her loving nature and friendly demeanor, Boba would undoubtedly thrive in a nurturing family environment, bringing joy and companionship to those lucky enough to welcome her into their home, particularly one with older children only.

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes. If you are interested in helping us overcome this crisis and you have the ability to facilitate the adoption process n our behalf, please apply to become one of our valued partners. You can find the steps to doing so at the link below.
