SISSY

Name: SISSY
Age: 12 W
Sex: Female
Weight: 12
Breed: Rat Terrier Mix
Reproductive: Spayed
Vaccinations: Fully Vaccinated
Microchipped: Yes
My Story:
When we initially rescued Bobba and her adorable pups, we had no idea that there was a third puppy in desperate need of help. It wasn’t until a month later, during our return to the area, that we stumbled upon Sissy at a nearby homeless camp. The sight of her, alone and vulnerable, tugged at our hearts, and we knew we had to act swiftly. With determination, we managed to secure her and bring her back to safety, where she could be reunited with her loving mother and siblings.
About Me:
Sissy is an affectionate puppy, radiating health and happiness in every playful leap she takes. Her soft, fluffy coat invites gentle strokes, while her delightful personality captivates everyone she encounters. Sissy thrives in the company of her brothers, Ollie and Presley, engaging in spirited games that showcase her playful nature. Beyond her love for play, she has a remarkable affinity for both animals and humans, forming bonds that are as heartwarming as they are genuine. With an eager spirit, Sissy is on the lookout for her forever home, where she can share her joy and companionship with a loving family.

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes. If you are interested in helping us overcome this crisis and you have the ability to facilitate the adoption process n our behalf, please apply to become one of our valued partners. You can find the steps to doing so at the link below.
