My Story:
Eddie was first spotted dumped in a very remote area of Bakersfield on May 16th. He was very elusive and scared. He was quite the challenge in securing but after over four months of determination he was finally secured. Even though he was terrified of being rescued he was thankful with kisses.
About Me:
Eddie is absolutely the sweetest baby. He wants to be around people that will love on him and give him attention. Something he was deprived of in his early months of life. Even after surviving the elements and being alone he is exceptionally friendly and sweet. He will be an amazing, wonderful baby for any family. He takes treats gently and is medium to low energy. Complete and absolute love.

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes.
