ARYA

Name: ARYA
Age: 3
Sex: Female
Weight: 55
Breed: German Shepherd
Reproductive: Spayed
Vaccinations: Fully Vaccinated
Microchipped: Yes
My Story:
In the orchards of East Bakersfield, Arya was found alongside two other dogs, clearly abandoned and in need of help. After considerable effort and dedication, we were able to rescue both Arya and her companion Opie, ensuring they were safe and cared for. Unfortunately, the third dog, frightened and wary, managed to escape our grasp, leaving us concerned for its well-being. The sight of these vulnerable animals, left to fend for themselves, tugged at our hearts, highlighting the urgent need for compassion and action in the face of such neglect.
About Me:
Arya is an enchanting and affectionate canine companion, embodying both intelligence and grace. This delightful fur lady possesses a playful spirit, particularly evident in her love for the game of fetch, which she approaches with boundless enthusiasm. Her sociable nature allows her to effortlessly bond with both fellow dogs and humans alike, making her a joy to be around. With her charming demeanor and well-mannered behavior, Arya is not just a pet; she is a potential family member seeking a loving forever home where she can share her warmth and companionship.

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes. If you are interested in helping us overcome this crisis and you have the ability to facilitate the adoption process n our behalf, please apply to become one of our valued partners. You can find the steps to doing so at the link below.
