MADISON
Name: MADISON
Age: 1
Sex: Female
Weight: 30
Breed: American English Coonhound mix
Reproductive: Spayed
Vaccinations: Fully Vaccinated
Microchipped: Yes
My Story:
Madison was spotted months prior to being rescued. She was seen pregnant and had delivered babies in the fields by a school. Puppies were never seen with mom and presumed to have not survived.
Madison was scared and would not allow anyone to get close. She went missing for some time around the Fourth of July and our fear was that during the explosions of fireworks, she took off from the area and was possibly killed.
Several wells later she was spotted Sharon near the school and we were able to successfully trap her.
About Me:
Madison is as precious as they come. She is petite at only 30 pounds. She is dog friendly and walks on leash. She is gentle and extremely smart.
She will make the best, fun little girl for any family.
My Status: Adopted
Thank you Novy’s Ark

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes. If you are interested in helping us overcome this crisis and you have the ability to facilitate the adoption process n our behalf, please apply to become one of our valued partners. You can find the steps to doing so at the link below.
