EZRA
Name: EZRA
Age: 7 m
Sex: Male
Weight: 20
Breed: Min Pin Mix
Reproductive: Neutered
Vaccinations: Fully Vaccinated
Microchipped: Yes
My Story:
While we were out on our feeding route for the dogs, we spotted Ezra crossing a perilous road. We quickly stopped the car and called out to him, and to our surprise, he came over to us. We managed to secure a lead and safely get him out of that situation. Ezra had been recently adopted from Kern County Animal Services and was micro-chipped. We contacted his owner, but she chose not to keep him any longer. Consequently, we welcomed him into our care.
About Me:
Ezra is an very energetic and charming young puppy. He enjoys playing with a ball and frolicking with his canine companions. His affectionate nature makes him great with both people and other dogs. He is crate trained and is beginning to understand the concept of love. This charming little companion is on the lookout for his forever home, where he will thrive with a family that recognizes his need for both physical activity and mental engagement to remain joyful and healthy.
My Status: Fostered

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes. If you are interested in helping us overcome this crisis and you have the ability to facilitate the adoption process n our behalf, please apply to become one of our valued partners. You can find the steps to doing so at the link below.
