LILY
Name: LILY
Age: 4 m
Sex: Female
Weight: 20
Breed: Anatolian Shepherd Mix
Reproductive: Spayed
Vaccinations: Fully Vaccinated
My Story:
Lily was found with her siblings dumped in a remote area of Bakersfield. The night temperatures were down to freezing. There was also a heavy rain storm and they had zero shelter. There are coyotes all through the vineyards and orchards and it is a miracle that they even survived. There were six puppies spotted and five were secured. We are still searching for the sixth puppy and have a trap set with the hopes of a sighting and that this last baby can be secured.
About Me:
Lily, like her siblings, is a very sweet, easy going puppy. She has a calm demeanor and will likely maintain that quality as she grows up. She enjoys playing with other dogs and is very friendly. She is looking for her forever home where she can be spoiled and loved.
My Status: Fostered

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes. If you are interested in helping us overcome this crisis and you have the ability to facilitate the adoption process n our behalf, please apply to become one of our valued partners. You can find the steps to doing so at the link below.
