GRACIE
Name: GRACIE
Age: 4 m
Sex: Female
Weight: 22
Breed: Cattle dog/Lab mix
My Story:
Gracie was found laying lifeless in a grape orchard, unable to move and non responsive. She was rushed to the emergency vet hospital. Gracie’s condition was very critical and it is believed to be from dehydration along with toxicity possibly due from poisoning.
She was finally discharged from the hospital after 11 days and we are hopeful that she can heal from her condition.
About Me:
Gracie is a beautiful puppy that has the cutest speckled feet and white chest. She has a longer coat that makes her so very pretty. She has a fighting spirit and the most beautiful greenish eyes.
Gracie is currently healing in a foster home and is thriving in her new surroundings. She is a true sweetheart and has formed great bonds with her new companions.
My Status: Fostered

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes. If you are interested in helping us overcome this crisis and you have the ability to facilitate the adoption process n our behalf, please apply to become one of our valued partners. You can find the steps to doing so at the link below.
