FEENA

Name: FEENA
Age: 5 M
Sex: Female
Weight: 15
Breed: Shepherd Mix
Reproductive: Spayed
Vaccinations: Fully Vaccinated
Microchipped: Yes
My Story:
We received an urgent text detailing the plight of (8) abandoned furry companions left in a desolate area. Feena and his siblings were found emaciated and terrified, and left vulnerable to relentless heat, and lurking predators like coyotes.
Despite the overwhelming odds stacked against us—an absence of resources, and a lack of rescue organizations to turn to—we could not simply stand by. Instead, we rallied together, driven by compassion and determination, embarking on a mission that seems impossible and saved Feena and her siblings.
About Me:
Feena has made an incredible recovery from her struggle with Giardia and is now thriving in her foster home, where she enjoys the company of her siblings. This sweet little pup is full of affection, often seeking out cuddles from her human companions and engaging in playful antics with her furry brothers and sisters. Her joyful spirit and loving nature make her a delightful presence in the household. As she continues to blossom, Feena is now on the lookout for her forever home, where she can share her warmth and companionship with a loving family.
My Status: Fostered

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes. If you are interested in helping us overcome this crisis and you have the ability to facilitate the adoption process n our behalf, please apply to become one of our valued partners. You can find the steps to doing so at the link below.
