CLARK

Name: CLARK
Age: 4
Sex: Male
Weight: 75
Breed: German Shepherd
Reproductive: Neutered
Vaccinations: Fully Vaccinated
Microchipped: Yes
My Story:
Clark was discovered in a notorious dumping ground in East Bakersfield, California, desperately searching for food and water near busy roads, which posed a constant threat of being struck by fast-moving vehicles. Lacking the necessary resources to assist him, we reached out to Animal Control to rescue this vulnerable dog. After a stray hold period, Clark was unfortunately placed on the euthanasia list due to an upper respiratory infection and limited space in the shelter. Determined to change his fate, we worked tirelessly to ensure that Clark would have a chance at a brighter future.
About Me:
Clark is an incredibly gentle dog who gets along well with both people and other dogs. As a mature canine, he has a calm demeanor and thrives on the affection he receives from his foster family. With his loving nature, Clark would be a wonderful addition to any home that is ready to welcome him.
My Status: Fostered

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes. If you are interested in helping us overcome this crisis and you have the ability to facilitate the adoption process n our behalf, please apply to become one of our valued partners. You can find the steps to doing so at the link below.
