My Story:
Jules was spotted in a desolate area east of Lamont, CA, wandering through the fields and facing the elements, coyotes, and other threats. She proved to be quite elusive, making it difficult for us to secure her, and unfortunately we lost sight of her for nearly a month.However, she was spotted again, prompting us to devise a plan to rescue this vulnerable girl. Patience finally paid off and we succeeded in bringing this sweet, furry gal into our care.
About Me:
Jules is a gentle and affectionate dog who initially come across as shy.
As she learns to trust again, she truly blossoms when showered with love and attention. Jules walks well on a leash and gets along nicely with other dogs, making her a well-rounded companion.
We are confident that she would thrive in a nurturing and patient home.

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes.
