My Story:
This boy was found abandoned in the dumping grounds here in Bakersfield. he was really beat up when we saw him but was in an area that was not accessible. We continued feeding him until we were able to safely secure him. He was out there in the rain and the cold and we were so happy when he was finally safe. He was easily secured once we had access to get to him.
About Me:
Charlie is the sweetest boy. He is people and dog friendly and walks great on the leash. He is extremely affectionate and loves to be loved on. He is low energy and would love nothing more than a family that will love him, take him for walks and let him lounge around the house. He is truly a fantastic boy.

One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes.
