My Story:
We received an urgent text detailing the plight of (8) abandoned furry companions left in a desolate area. Brynn and her siblings were found emaciated and terrified, and left vulnerable to relentless heat, and lurking predators like coyotes.
Despite the overwhelming odds stacked against us—an absence of resources, and a lack of rescue organizations to turn to—we could not simply stand by. Instead, we rallied together, driven by compassion and determination, embarking on a mission that seems impossible and saved Brynn and her siblings.
About Me:
Brynn has made a remarkable recovery from her bout with Giardia and is now flourishing in her foster home, surrounded by her siblings. This affectionate little pup has a playful spirit, often engaging in lively games with her brothers and sisters, showcasing her joyful personality. Her warmth extends beyond her littermates; Brynn is already demonstrating a deep affection for both people and other dogs, eagerly seeking out companionship and interaction. Whether she’s romping around the yard or snuggling up for some quality cuddle time, Brynn’s loving nature shines through, making her a delightful addition to any family looking for a forever companion

Rescue Partners
One of the most critical needs for our team are partners with the ability to help house Bakersfield Strays dogs upon being picked up. We have limited space and ability to hold them for long periods of time and our expertise is more generally suited for partnerships with larger private adoption agencies that can become a liaison between us and the forever homes of the dogs. We do have a process for becoming a partner that ensures they are going to remain happy and healthy in loving homes.
